“Light of the Unbroken: The Cut of Independence”
What is functional clothing?
Functional clothing combines a familiar appearance with thoughtful solutions designed around the needs of people after amputation. It makes dressing easier, allows greater freedom of movement, and helps you feel confident every day.
All adaptive elements are integrated so they remain almost invisible. On the outside, it is classic clothing. On the inside, thoughtful details work to keep you comfortable.
Shirts
Thoughtfully designed fastenings, adjustable sleeve length, and a more relaxed cut make the shirt easy to put on and comfortable to wear throughout the day. Stretch fabrics allow freedom of movement and adapt to your needs.
Trousers
The trousers are designed with prosthetic use in mind: the fabric is more durable at contact points, while additional fastenings and adjustable width make them more convenient for everyday wear.
Suits
Each suit is made to individual measurements to accommodate the unique needs of the wearer and their prosthesis. The result is not only comfort, but also a classic, polished look without compromise.
Materials and trims
We use modern fabrics and trims that combine durability, flexibility, and comfort. Every solution remains almost invisible from the outside while making the clothing easier to use every day.

From an idea to a finished garment
The first YARMICH adaptive outfits were created for Ukrainian military personnel with their individual needs in mind. A jacket with a detachable sleeve, an adaptive shirt, and convertible trousers showed how thoughtful details can make everyday life significantly easier.

About “Light of the Unbroken: The Cut of Independence”
Initiative partnersIndependence begins with the freedom to be yourself
Every year, to mark Ukraine’s Independence Day, YARMICH turns the creation of functional clothing into an open social initiative. This year, together with TYTANOVI, we are creating five individually adapted looks for veterans.
This is about more than clothing. It is about the freedom to dress independently, move freely, feel comfortable in public spaces, and live an active life without unnecessary limitations.

Why “The Cut of Independence”?
For YARMICH, a cut is more than the construction of a garment. It is a way to create clothing that adapts to the person, rather than forcing the person to adapt to the clothing.
That is why independence in this initiative means the ability to move, take action, and feel confident every day.
Five heroes. Five stories. Five individual looks.
At the heart of the initiative are five veterans for whom the YARMICH team is creating functional clothing adapted to their needs. Each look is the result of individual work by stylists, pattern makers, and tailors, and symbolizes every person’s right to comfort, dignity, and freedom of movement.
