Ahead of Ukraine’s Independence Day, YARMICH will host a charity show featuring adaptive menswear created for veterans recovering from injuries.
Join us on August 23, 2026, at 4:00 PM on the main stage at Respublika Park.
The project is being created together with the TYTANOVI prosthetics and rehabilitation centre, with the support of Respublika Park.
Admission is free. The show will be a dedicated part of the venue’s larger Independence Day programme.
Six veterans, six different looks
Six Ukrainian veterans will take the stage.
For each participant, the YARMICH team has created an individual look based on their mobility, everyday needs and the way they use clothing in daily life.
There is no universal solution. For one person, it may be important to button a shirt easily with one hand. For another, to put on trousers without removing a prosthesis. In other cases, the fit may need to change, the sleeve construction may need to be adjusted, or the fabric may need reinforcement in areas exposed to constant friction.
At the same time, the clothing still looks the way the person wants it to look.
That is what matters to us: adaptive features should make life easier, not define a person’s style.
“Behind every look is a conversation with the participant, several fittings and a search for solutions that will genuinely work in everyday life. It is important to us that adaptive clothing does not limit a person’s choice of style. We want to create clothing in which veterans feel confident, comfortable and dignified,” says the YARMICH team.
What will happen on stage
The show will begin with a short documentary video about the preparation process.
It will include moments from fittings, work on the individual looks and conversations with the participants. It will show what usually remains behind the scenes: how the garment is developed, what we change after a fitting, and why one small detail can make clothing much easier to use every day.
The veterans will then present their completed looks on the main stage.
During each appearance, the host will briefly introduce the participant and explain which functional features were used in their clothing.
This is an important part of the show.
At first glance, the audience may simply see a well-fitted suit. And that is exactly the point. The adaptive solutions remain within the garment’s construction, working for the person without drawing unnecessary attention to themselves.
Supporting the TYTANOVI fundraiser
The show also has a charitable purpose.
Together, we are supporting the TYTANOVI fundraiser for osseointegration prosthetics.
During this procedure, a titanium implant is placed directly into the bone, allowing the prosthesis to attach to the implant without a traditional socket.
For some people with high-level amputations, this method can make it possible to use a prosthesis when conventional attachment methods are not suitable.
The necessary implants and surgeries are not funded by the state.
TYTANOVI is currently raising UAH 15 million for ten veterans. Around UAH 12 million has already been collected.
On August 23, we want to help bring the fundraiser even closer to its goal.

How to support the fundraiser at the event
Donate during the show.
A QR code linking to the official fundraiser will be displayed on the large screen next to the stage. You will be able to scan it and support TYTANOVI directly from your seat.
Visit the YARMICH area.
Our dedicated space near the main stage will give guests a chance to see the adaptive clothing up close, explore specific construction details and speak with our team about the project.
Receive a YARMICH silk pocket square for a donation of UAH 500 or more.
We have prepared it as a blind gift: you choose the package without knowing which print is inside. All funds raised through this activity will go toward the charitable goal of the project.
Take part in the charity prize draw.
YARMICH will provide gift certificates with a total value of UAH 10,000. Project partners also plan to contribute additional gifts and special prizes.
The winners will be announced on August 24, Ukraine’s Independence Day.
Full participation details and the complete list of prizes will be published on the official YARMICH and project partner social media pages.
This is not a one-day project
YARMICH’s work with adaptive clothing did not begin with this show.
We have already created individual looks for veterans, including a jacket with a detachable sleeve section and concealed zippers, as well as trousers with a side fastening running the full length of the leg that can be transformed into shorts when needed.
We shared more about this experience in our article “Functional Clothing. The Strength of Resilience and Style”.
Adaptive clothing at YARMICH is not a separate collection and is not limited to the August 23 event.
We work with each person individually: we meet, conduct a fitting, identify what creates discomfort and look for solutions through the cut, construction and materials.
On August 23, we are simply bringing this work to a larger audience.
Not only to people who are already familiar with adaptive clothing, but also to the thousands of visitors who will come to Respublika Park that day.
